The trustees of Hind Di Chadar Foundation in its meeting held on 6.9.2021, unanimously resolved that in recognition of life time achievements of Late S. Bachan Singh Mundra and his affection for his village Chanauli, the HIND DI CHADAR FOUNDATION shall initiate an award for the student passing Matric Examination with high merit from the Govt. Senior Secondary School, Chanauli. This award shall carry a cash reward of Rs. 5000/- (Rs. Five Thousand only) along with a certificate. This award shall be given every year to one girl student and one boy student. The award shall be named as “B.S. MUNDRA AWARD OF MERIT”.
1. OBJECTIVES
- To motivate and encourage the meritorious students from the Govt. Senior Secondary School, Tehsil Nurpur Bedi, Distt.Rupnagar
2. SCOPE
- The award shall be awarded to one boy and one girl student every year on the basis of the results of Secondary School Examination (Matriculation).
3. ALLOCATION OF AWARD
- The award shall be awarded to such students who apply online for the award on the Foundation website.
- Physical application would not be accepted.
- Applicant is required to submit certificate of merit issued by principal of the school in the prescribed format. Click here
- Merit list would be generated from the verified applications.
- The application shall be scrutinised by the Foundation and award shall be decided on basis of merit.
- The name of the winner shall be notified on the foundation website.
4. ELIGIBILITY
- Students who have secured marks above 80% and have studied in the Govt. Senior Secondary School, Village Chanauli, Tehsil Anandpur Sahib, District Rupnagar.
5. AWARD
- The award carries cash price of Rs 5000/- and a certificate of merit .
